Designed for all-out comfort, these Babolat SFX 4 shoes now have even more cushioning between your feet and the court, and continue to offer a wider fit. Extra Cush foam in the midsole feels pillowy soft, while the mesh upper delivers a nice breathable and flexible feel. Rubber has been added to the medial side of the toe box and tip of the toe, to protect the mesh from foot-drag. Babolat's tried and true Michelin rubber is formed into a two piece outsole, with a TPU shank plate in between to help with stability. The herringbone tread has been beefed up in high wear zones for added durability, and the Michelin rubber delivers great traction on a variety of court surfaces.

BlistersA very comfortable shoe until you play a few games. Got nasty blisters from the sides of the shoes
Decent shoeSizing runs min 1/2 large. Width runs great, cushion is great. Very comfortable shoe. I’m used to ON clubhouse pros and they keep running out of my size so my suggestion is to order 1/2 size smaller. I would recommend them. Also shoes make a lot of squeaky noises! Good for showing footwork!

A superb alternativeI was disappointed when Tennis Warehouse did not have my favorite shoe, a New Balance 4E wide model, in my size. Warehouse staff conferred and recommended this Babolat model as a strong alternative choice. I’m very pleased with the shoe’s ample cushioning, space and tread … it’s very comfortable, no regrets.

Lovely shoes for Wide feetI wear these for tennis and pickleball. They fit well, get the job done and look good. I replaced my golf shoes with these as well.
Babolat SFX 4 AC shoeVery comfortable shoe with no break in time. I have a wide foot but these shoes are extra wide. The size D width would probably be adequate for players that need a slightly wider shoe than most brands. Extended heel is a little funky.
Updated but not improvedShoe still fits well although a little more narrow but still fits a wider foot. This updated shoe feels more padded but is overkill as it felt unstable right away. Not as great for lateral movement as the sfx 3. Never took it on the court as it just didn't seem stable enough for aggressive play. Probably good if your looking for comfort and not starting and stopping hard
Wide width: heavy and bulkyShoe is a true wide width, 4E, and it’s foot-shaped toe area is great. Must downsize 1/2 size. I got the 9Wide but wasnt sure if I had the correct size ( may need an 8.5 wide ) After 1 month, the shoe serves its purpose: excellent shock absorbtion for 265lb guy, durable,great grip, snug fit with Babolat’s proprietary lacing that doesnt come apart BUT they are heavy and bulky! Dont like it coming from a NewBalance customer 596V4 model which the manufacture doesnt make anymore. Why? Why are all tennis shoe manufacturers making heavy shoes (15 oz and above)?
