As a brand-new introduction within the Lebron and Technical family, the Babolat Viper Soft Juan Lebron 3.0 padel racket is a great option for players who want maximum power without aggravating their arm/shoulder. This brand-new version of the Juan Lebron Viper sports a very similar spec profile to its firmer sibling, but, its hitting surface and internals are distinctly different. On the hitting surface, Babolat uses a "twill" 3K carbon layup instead of the standard 3K carbon fiber  for a softer impact and increased dwell time. The twill carbon is both lighter and more flexible than the carbon used in the regular Viper, which allows the contact point to facilitate more dwell time for increased comfort and ease when shaping shots. For 2026, Babolat doubles down on their signature Dynamic Stability construction, which consists of a throat bridge geometry that increases rigidity while also promoting a stable nature while the racket is moving at higher speeds. The idea is to facilitate higher racket head speeds on powerful shots like overheads, bajadas, and viboras. To further boost its stability and comfort, the Black E.V.A. foam internally softens every impact with ease. The racket sports a slightly lighter weight at 365 grams, and features a high balance of 270 mm for powering through shots with emphasis. In the heart of the racket, Babolat's Vibrabsorb System utilizes inserted elastomers that reduce vibrations in areas of high impact. Additionally, the Holes Pattern System opts for smaller holes more in the center for increased precision, and larger holes around the edge of the racket for more forgiveness on off-center shots. All-in-all, this new entry into the Lebron and Technical family is an excellent option for advanced and intermediate players who love power access but don't want something too taxing on their body.
