We found this to have surprisingly good power, even while remaining controllable. Internally, Head's Control Foam improves stability and comfort throughout contact while also increasing dwell time. To boost structural rigidity, Head uses a Smart Bridge connecting piece across the throat of the racket. Increasing comfort in the handle, Head's Soft Buttcap + technology makes for a softer impact sensation without sacrificing connection to the ball. Additionally, the Radical Team features a fiberglass hitting surface, which helps facilitate consistent spin production while remaining flexible enough for good dwell time, letting players shape their shots with ease. Elsewhere, the strategic inclusion of Auxetic 2.0 boosts both comfort and stability throughout contact, using auxetic fibers that stretch wide where normal materials would otherwise become compressed. The Radical Team was praised at Padel Warehouse for being a stable hitting experience, despite its relatively low balance point. For fans of some mass-based power with exceptional handling, the Radical Team is hard to go wrong with.
