The round co-poly has impressive snap back and feel.

Not all round polys are created equal, including Toroline's A5, which is engineered to help you load the ball with spin. Although it lacks the sharp bite of Toroline's shaped polys, A5 features a low-friction surface to boost snap back and amplify ball rotation. It also packs a moderate stiffness, giving it above-average pop and pocketing for a poly. Yet, it still delivers very predictable results on full cuts, with great directional control, making it easy to pull the trigger at the end of a long rally. In addition to playing great as a full set, A5's low-friction surface makes it a great hybrid cross.

GREAT snapback, good durability & controlI really enjoyed this string—the snapback is ELITE. This feels like a better version of ALU Power. The playability degrades in a more linear fashion, it's not a distinct cliff where tension drops all of a sudden. The snapback starts to degrade at ~12 hours but remains playable, although, you definitely can feel the string start to get launchy. Also, for the soundhounds, there's a “pingyness” to this string, at least for me, when strung at 50 lbs in an Aero 98. Some love that sound, but I find myself preferring a poly that has more of the “thud” as opposed to the “ping.” Finally, for the aesthetics crowd, the metallic gunmetal color is great, matching perfectly with the 23' Aero 98. Given how slick the string is (and round), I imagine it will hybrid really well. Definitely recommend giving this string a try, whether full bed or as part of your hybrid. Hopefully they release a 1.30 for the fans of “stiff racquet + low tension” to help with control and durability without having to crank things up above 50 lbs.
