The Tenniix Pro Ball Machine is an evolution of the standard Tenniix Ball Machine, which either comes as-is pictured above, or can be assembled with the AI Camera module, which is available for purchase separately. When it comes to ball machines, you've likely seen the usual big metal box with wheels, levers and practically zero portability. Tenniix is the opposite of the traditional approach to a ball machine, in that it is highly portable, lightweight, and easy to use, even from the other end of the court via the Tenniix smartphone app. The machine is battery-operated, meaning you can use it anywhere, on any tennis courts. The Tenniix ball machine has three main modes: Training Mode, Match Mode, and Custom Mode. In Training Mode, users can create and select a specific type of shot that they want to practice hitting against, all curated and adjusted through the companion app. Training Mode gives you the option to choose from practicing against any of these shot types: Baseline Ball, Short Ball, Feed Ball, Volley Shot, Kill Shot, Moon Ball, Hand Feed, Top Spin, and Back Spin. Once the type of shot has been selected, the Tenniix app lets users customize any and all of the following with a slider:

• Ball Speed - How fast the ball is dispensed from Tenniix.
• Shot Angle - The angle of elevation for launch.
• Ball Spin - Amount of rotations per minute inputted on the ball (topspin).
• Horizontal rotation - A slider for adjusting angle of release horizontally.
• Feed interval timing (1.5-10 seconds)

In Match Mode, Tenniix will time the shots it feeds to you as if they were being hit by a real opponent. This is great for simulating actual rallies, instead of just working on the same shot with the same timing repeatedly. Players can choose between any of the following rally modes:

• Baseline Rally - Series of shots that mimic baseline to baseline exchanges, with shots landing deep in the court and close to the baseline consistently.
• Deep and Short Rally - A series of shots that switches between a baseline ball and shots nearer the service line, prompting you to attack the point.
• Move Rally - A sequence of rally balls that are designed to make you move to the ball, facilitating better footwork and sharper timing.
• Spin Rally - A shot sequence designed to mimic slice battles or heavy topspin exchanges.

In Custom Mode, player can customize 10 balls (By ball type setting, landing point setting and using customized drills) and can implement a loop setting (1 to 20 balls or an infinite loop) to set up any kind of drill that you can come up with.

The Pro version of the Tenniix Ball Machine has two new modes, Smart Training Mode and Smart Match Mode. Smart Training Mode features two main sub-modes, Follow-Up Training and Return Training. Follow-Up Training is designed to track your movement and challenge your court positioning and automatically adjusts its subsequent ball feeds accordingly to improve spatial awareness and enhance court coverage. Return Training monitors whether or not you've returned to a neutral court positioning. Once you have, Tenniix Pro will feed the next ball. The intent of this mode is to practice defensive positioning, create more attacking opportunities, and to optimize energy distribution.

All-in-all, our team of equipment testers was thoroughly impressed by the functionality and ease-of-use of the Tenniix ball machine. Its highly customizable ball outputs are among some of the best we've seen, and the Match Mode is great at simulating the actual timing of a rally. The portability is another standout feature, as it is easily packed up and slung over the shoulder with a carrying strap. For even more options with voice control, users can implement the Tenniix Voice Armband Module to adjust feeds in real time from the other side of the court.
