Customer Reviews
Comfortable, not durableThese shoes were the best replacement for the Asics that I had worn forever before they changed the fit. The only problem with the New Balance CT Rally 2 is that the sole is not durable. I play a few times per week, singles and doubles, and the shoes lose their tread after 2 months, and I wear a hole in the bottom by the 3rd month. New Balance has a 6 month warranty on the shoes, so they have already replaced them once for me. Again, they're comfortable and fit well, they just don't last long enough.
Gave them another shotI ordered these back in February and I had trouble with numb toes and knee pain. I stopped wearing them and just today decided to try them again. Within an hour I regretted my choice, knee pain in both knees (back of knee) and rubbing on big toe joint. Ouchy! Not for me.
LOVE !!!Please dont discontinue or change! Fit like a glove! Have worn so many in 20 yrs with
K Swiss last few. Switched cause dont like
K Swiss version this year. I have a semi-wide foot. Got the “D” version. So comfortable yet stable moving in every direction! Zero slippage. I will run balls down and these dont slow me down at all. I also like the low profile. Hate it when shoe tongue rides so high on front of ankle. Cant praise these enough. Hopefully the sole will last. Intend on buying again!
Not working for meI have been playing in these for a week and still not broken in. No matter how I adjust the laces my toes go numb. I can’t have them any looser or my heel slips and I don’t feel stable. They don’t feel too tight or like they rub anywhere but still I end up with numb toes.
BEST SHOES EVERI LOVE THESE SHOES THEY ARE MY FAVORITE SHOES
Downgrade from V1The V2 version is a downgrade. The heel slippage is really bad on this shoe and the fabric on the laces slips easily. No runners loop on the shoe which makes the heel issue worse
Great fitting for frequent tennis playersThis is my third pair of New Balance having worn adidas for years. I purchased the wide width in a half size bigger to accommodate my orthotics. There was minimal break in time. I like the look. The weight feels slightly heavier than my last CT Rally but otherwise I highly recommend this shoe for competitive tennis play.
Extremely comfortableI have problematic feet- plantar fasciitis, arch pain and I lose a lot of toe nails from repeated impact. These shoes have solved all of these issues. I have “normal” B width feet and fit perfectly. If my feet were any narrower though, they would be too wide. The toe box is wide and is also extremely soft so even if my foot does slip and hit the front of the shoe, it doesn’t hurt at all. No plantar fasciitis flare ups, they’re speedy enough on court. I haven’t had any lateral instability. I afraid to say it but I think New Balance has made the perfect shoe for my feet. I will be buying these repeatedly! I hope they release more colors!
Great Tennis Shoe!I play tennis 2-3 times a week. I have a bunion and New Balance tennis shoes are the only shoes that work for me. I ordered regular and wide width as not all NB fit the same, the wide width fit perfectly. They're true to size.
New balance CT Rally shoesThis is my fourth pair of the New Balance CTRally shoes. I wear a women’s size 9 D. They fit fine right out of the box and wear well. They are very supportive and I would recommend these shoes. I am very happy with this choice.
